Hugo Ekitike, a 21-year-old attacker who is also on Crystal Palace’s radar, had representatives in contact with West Ham United.
Hugo Ekitike is wanted by West Ham United, according to a report from 90min, and they have been in touch with his representatives. However, the Hammers are not the only team vying for his services; after failing to do so on deadline day, Crystal Palace is also interested.
Ekitike joined Paris Saint-Germain last summer after working his way up through the ranks at Stade Reims. It was a first-mortgage relocation with a purchase requirement. This summer, the transfer was made permanent. He might, though, wind up leaving the club soon.
Despite playing alongside superstars like Neymar, Kylian Mbappe, and Lionel Messi, the 21-year-old was still able to deliver some standout performances last season. Although he played in 32 games, he spent fewer than 1,400 minutes on the field. Despite playing fewer minutes than other players, Ekitike was able to help contribute to eight goals.
The 21-year-old did manage to put in some standout performances, but he is still unable to establish himself in PSG’s star-studded assault. Although Messi and Neymar have departed the team, he has fallen further down the pecking order with the acquisition this summer of Goncalo Ramos, Bradley Barcola, and Randal Kolo Muani.
The French youth international had no place in PSG’s ranks, and the club thought that Kolo Muani’s transfer to Eintracht Frankfurt would include him. He was initially considering joining the German team, but he ultimately decided against it.
Crystal Palace sought to sign the 21-year-old striker on the final day of the transfer window. The negotiations broke down because the Eagles and the French club were unable to come to an agreement. Palace hasn’t given up, and if he’s still available in the winter, they might hire him again.
West Ham United is also eager to have him join their ranks, in the meanwhile. The Hammers want to attack with more force. The 21-year-old appears to be the youthful forward they are looking to add to their team, someone who can spearhead their assault for years to come.
The representatives of the player are in touch with the Hammers. They wanted to know about his status and are prepared to act if he decides to leave PSG.
The French club is where Ekitike wants to spend the most time. He seeks to insert himself into Luis Enrique’s schemes. But if he doesn’t at the beginning of the new year, the 21-year-old might think about signing with a Premier League team.
