In his most recent press conference, Roy Hodgson gave a good injury report on Crystal Palace defender Nathan Ferguson.
The Englishman was signed by Crystal Palace back in 2020 on a free transfer, but so far, things haven’t worked out as expected.
This is as a result of his persistent struggles with injuries. Given that he is only 22 years old and is highly regarded by many, it is quite upsetting to see for both the team and the individual.
Since joining the team three years ago, he has only made one senior appearance for the Eagles as a result of these ailments.
Update on Nathan Ferguson’s injuries from Roy Hodgson
The manager gave a positive injury report on the defender during his press conference yesterday, according to Crystal Palace.
He remarked: “I actually got some news on him today, fairly positive news, that he’s actually participating in some training with the Academy.
He has returned and is participating in training. In fact, they were hoping to have him back on the field of play and playing again quite soon. It has taken a while since they have had to be extra cautious given all the obstacles and issues.
This is unquestionably wonderful news to hear because it appears that the player may be close to making a comeback and participating in some games very soon.
While initially limited to academy football while he recovers, this is still fantastic news for the team.
The fact that they extended the defender’s contract despite the fact that he had played so little during the previous season shows that they certainly believe in him.
