Despite once again putting on a respectable performance, West Ham lost again at Anfield, and ExWHUEmployee lamented again another chance lost.

Although West Ham lost against Liverpool 3-1 on Sunday, the result doesn’t accurately reflect the game because our Hammers were very much involved for the bulk of the time. Mistakes led to the loss, which West Ham must now overcome.

Nayef Aguerd once again made a mistake on this occasion, giving up a careless penalty that allowed Liverpool to take the lead. Many are already speculating as to whether a defensive change is necessary to prevent conceding additional goals in the coming weeks.

Ex, who attended the game, wants to quickly put this defeat behind them as Sheffield United, who just suffered an 8-0 home loss to Newcastle, are the next opponents. The club source lamented yet another Liverpool defeat, something West Ham has regrettably grown accustomed to over the years.
