The match on Saturday in Wrexham will feature Connor O’Riordan, who has been deemed healthy and available.

Due to a minor calf injury, the large defender missed the victory over Colchester United, but he has now returned to training and might play at the Racecourse.

After participating in the Under-21s’ victory at Fleetwood during the previous week, Charlie Finney and Charlie Colkett are also eligible, while fellow midfielder Conor Thomas (calf) is anticipated to miss the game.

Connor O’Riordan will be available for Saturday since he has resumed training, according to assistant manager Ryan Dicker.

“Conor Thomas is still sidelined and won’t be ready for a few weeks due to a minor calf injury.

Both Charlie Colkett and Charlie Finney participated in Tuesday’s Under-21 match and will be ready for the weekend. Finney was removed as a safety measure, but he is well.

Charlie Colkett must be handled carefully because he completed the preseason without incident before suffering a hamstring injury in the final friendly.

“We can’t rush him because he’s been out for eight weeks.” He participated in two U21s games, playing 45 minutes in the first and a little longer in the second, so we need to watch out that he doesn’t get injured.

We don’t want to rush him; he needs to be in good physical and mental health.
