Due to Harry Winks’ talent, Leicester City boss Enzo Maresca is confident that he can once again reach the pinnacle of the game.
Winks eventually left Tottenham Hotspur to sign a permanent move with Leicester in the summer and has since been a vital part of a squad that is currently atop the Championship.
When he was rising through the ranks at Tottenham, the midfielder was seen as a promising young player. He made his team debut under former Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino.
He was predicted to be a star player, but his development stalled, and he spent the previous season on loan with Sampdoria in Italy.
Maresca is confident that Winks will once more ascend to the top of the game, though.
The manager of Leicester believes he has performed admirably since joining the team and is set to advance.
“I don’t have any doubts, Harry Winks could be a good player for an international team,” Maresca said to talkSPORT.
He is doing great work and is a great assistance to us.
He have the aptitude to reach the top.
Winks will work to get Leicester back into the Premier League so they can start to flourish there the following season.
