Manor Solomon of Tottenham will be out for a while after having surgery on his right knee, which is a setback for Ange Postecoglou’s Premier League rivals.

The 24-year-old underwent surgery on Thursday after suffering a meniscus injury in training earlier this week, according to a brief statement posted on the official website of Spurs.

The 24-year-old Israel international signed with Spurs in the summer after making an impression while on loan at Fulham the previous campaign.

He has played for Spurs six times this season, most recently coming on as a second-half replacement in the team’s thrilling 2-1 Premier League victory over Liverpool last weekend.
