When discussing his matchup with Bukayo Saka in the North London Derby, Destiny Udogie called the Arsenal player a “great player.”

Udogie has had a fantastic first year in the Premier League and hasn’t played poorly yet this year.

The 20-year-old lacks the maturity and poise of someone with much experience as opposed to someone who is still a young professional.

The former Udinese player undoubtedly passed those tests with flying colors, managing to keep Saka and Mohamed Salah relatively quiet. Many were interested to see how the former Udinese player would perform against two of the league’s greatest teams, Arsenal and Liverpool.

Given that Udogie was booked quite early in the game and was playing in a hostile environment, his performance in the North London Derby was especially outstanding.

Udogie will only get better as he gains more experience, acclimates to Tottenham’s system, and copes with the pressure of the Premier League.

The 20-year-old is without a doubt talented and has the proper attitude to improve into the top left-back in the world over the next few years.
