london, 9 oct. West Ham has announced yesterday that Jarrod Bowen has extended his contract by seven years.
The 26-year-old has 45 goals in 166 appearances for the Hammers, including the winning goal in the club’s first trophy since 1980 in last season’s Europa Conference League final.
In nine appearances this season, Bowen, who was recalled to the England team last week, has scored five goals.
Everyone is aware of how much this club means to me, so Bowen replied, “It means so much to me and my family to commit my future until 2030.”
I’ll always treasure the moment I scored the game-winning goal to win the Europa Conference League in Prague.
David Moyes, the manager of West Ham, praised the agreement as “great news” for the team.
Everyone associated with West Ham will remember his goal in Prague, according to Moyes.
“It’s given him a platform to go from strength to strength, and we’re really reaping the benefits, he’s getting better and better.”
Bowen, who moved to West Ham from Hull in 2020 for £18 million, had previously been mentioned as a potential Mohamed Salah replacement at Liverpool. — AFP
