Kristensen discusses Mourinho

Rasmus Kristensen left Elland Road this summer after being demoted, joining a large number of other first-team talents. The international from Denmark joined AS Roma on loan for the entire season but was not included in the Serie A team for the Europa League.

Kristensen has already made seven appearances for Jose Mourinho’s team despite this setback. The full-back acknowledges that his decision to relocate to the Italian capital was motivated by the chance to work with the “Special One.”

He said to TV Sport 2: “He’s an excellent coach. That is one of the reasons I decided to visit Rome. He is one of the finest coaches in history and has achieved every possible victory. He also exudes that atmosphere.

“To me, he is the best coach there is. Naturally, I wanted to try and collaborate with him. So far, it’s been really awesome and instructive.

Interest in McLean

Glen Kamara and Ilia Gruev were acquired by Daniel Farke in the last days of the summer transfer window for an estimated £11 million. The former manager of Norwich City was apparently adamant about getting back together with Kenny McLean.

The Scotland international extended his tenure at Carrow Road in September by signing a contract extension that will keep him there until 2026. The Athletic assert that despite a bid of around £4 million being made for the 31-year-old, Norwich’refused to entertain’ the idea of selling McLean to Leeds.
