Alejo Veliz, a striker for Tottenham Hotspur, has advanced quickly into Premier League contention due to his impressive performance in training.

Alejo Veliz, a summer signing for Tottenham Hotspur, appears to have left Ange Postecoglou quite impressed.

The Athletic asserts that Veliz is leaving a lasting influence in North London, which is what they say.

Veliz left Rosario Central for Tottenham in an August transaction worth £13 million. The Argentinian was definitely seen as a talent for the future and wasn’t exactly labeled as a Harry Kane successor, but he’s making waves at Tottenham.

Making an impact at Tottenham Hotspur is Alejo Veliz
The Athletic now asserts that Veliz has been ‘fast-tracked’ into Postecoglou’s plans as a result of his performance in training at Hotspur Way. Additionally, injuries have sped up the process, although Veliz is contributing by displaying promise in training. According to the report, Postecoglou wasn’t supposed to use Veliz until the second half of the season at the earliest. Veliz has, however, made a few substitute appearances for Spurs, entering the game against Luton Town and Liverpool for a few seconds each.

Although Veliz is only 20 and will face challenges along the way, this has been a promising beginning for him in England.

Moving Veliz’s loan in January seems improbable.
Veliz will desire to play for Tottenham, but the route was blocked when he was eliminated in the first round of the Carabao Cup. The demand for Veliz to be loaned out in the January window in order for him to play more games abroad may increase as a result. However, it appears that Postecoglou is impressed and anticipates Veliz playing this season as a substitute. Giorgos Giakoumakis and Oh Hyeon-gyu represented muscular strikers up top, just like Veliz, but Postecoglou wasn’t hesitant to play with a big guy up top at Celtic.

The Argentinian, who cost £13 million, will be vying for his first Premier League start at some point this season.
