On Sunday, about two weeks after parting ways with Michael Beale, Rangers announced the hiring of Philippe Clement as their new manager.

The Belgian, who will aim to get started right away at Ibrox, was seen on Monday morning making his way to their training facility for his first day of work. Football Scotland shared a photo of Clement entering the Rangers practice field in his car to start working after beating out other hopefuls for the position.

The 49-year-old is the Ibrox club’s fourth manager in the past two years, following Steven Gerrard, Giovanni van Bronckhorst, and Beale. He is the 19th permanent Rangers manager.

After managing AS Monaco for 18 months, Clement was fired in June. He hopes to continue working with the Light Blues and assist them win significant trophies in the future.
