Blackpool’s Kylian Kouassi has had a strong start to the season and says he’s happy to be proving a lot of people wrong.
This season, the attacker has scored five goals, and he is starting to play a more regular role in League One. Every time Kouassi takes the field, he says he is driven to give it his all.
It’s been good; for me, it’s just a learning curve, he remarked. It’s been about learning both on and off the field and approaching each game step by step. “I play very aggressively; I sprint for the team all the time. “I want to establish my worth, particularly in light of the doubts about my ability to compete in this level.
“I just know that I can give it my best on the field; I don’t really care about anything outside of my goal of winning games and playing football. “I’m craving more goals because I enjoy scoring them. I will shoot if given the opportunity. “I’m appreciative that I’m here and that I was able to seize this chance. “The environment has been incredible; the boys, the staff, and the fans have all been fantastic. “So far, so good; it’s been easy for me to blend in. It’s easier when you’re surrounded by achievers and motivated individuals who share your goals and aspirations. “As a player, you want to be at your best, so it’s a good feeling to have so much competition here.”
