David Prutton believes that when West Brom plays QPR at The Hawthorns on Tuesday, October 24, they will get back to winning ways.

Before the international break, the Baggies suffered a contentious 3-1 loss to Birmingham City and ended up in a 0-0 tie with Plymouth Argyle the next weekend.

On Monday, October 23, Prutton gave his Championship predictions for Sky Sports, and he predicted Carlos Corberan’s team to win 2-0 over QPR in their midweek matchup.

Remain hopeful.

Despite just picking up one point in their last two games, West Brom is comfortably in ninth place in the Championship. In fact, they could advance to the play-offs if things go their way over the next few days, especially a victory at home against struggling QPR.

The following few weeks will see Albion play matches against Hull City and Coventry City, two more games that should be won on paper. After Saturday’s (October 21) draw with Plymouth, there were rumors of dissatisfaction, but supporters need to remain strong. By making sure the Baggies stay competitive and in the running for promotion, Corberan is performing admirably under trying conditions. In that sense, the QPR visit is a really important fixture, as the outcome will greatly impact the fan base’s attitude. With three points against the team in 22nd position, there won’t be much for fans to be angry about.
