Sheffield United is apparently keeping an eye on non-league sensation Olukayode Osu, while Wrexham is supposedly in the running for his transfer.

AHEAD OF TIME?
The 21-year-old defender is now playing for Bracknell Town in the Southern Premier League Division South. His popularity in the semi-professional ranks has grown to the point where the Football League is taking notice.

Osu, who can also play midfield, is reportedly drawing admiring looks from English football’s top four divisions. Sheffield United, a Premier League team, is reportedly leading the hunt for his signature, according to TEAMtalk.

AHEAD OF YOU?
Scouts have looked at Osu’s potential and reported back to Bramall Lane with good news. But he would need to make a significant step up to reach the top, so perhaps a stepping stone transfer would be the best course of action for everyone.

UP NEXT: WHAT HAPPENS?
West Brom, Huddersfield, and Barnsley are a few of the teams keeping an eye on Osu’s circumstances in light of this. Additionally, he might be offered the opportunity to participate in the ambitious project that Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney are assembling at Wrexham; the Welsh team is reportedly showing interest as they start to identify targets for the January window.
