Palace Boss Roy has revealed that the England star Nathan Ferguson has an injury
The 23-year-old joined Crystal Palace in the summer of 2020 and has made one senior appearance for the squad as his time with the Eagles has been marred by injuries.
Ferguson featured for 90 minutes in Crystal Palace Under-21’s Premier League International Cup game against Monaco Under-21 on Tuesday in front of first-team boss Hodgson.
Hodgson admitted that he was pleased with Ferguson’s performance on Tuesday and revealed that the defender picked up an injury during the game.
The Crystal Palace boss stated that he is still not aware of the severity of the injury and added that he is hoping that it is not a bad one.
“I was pleased to see him play”, Hodgson said at a press conference.
“I heard that today he picked up an injury during the game.
“I don’t know the severity of it but I hope it’s not a bad one.”
Ferguson has yet to take part in the ongoing campaign and he will be hoping to get back to the training ground as soon as possible.
