Paul Mullin, a legendary striker for Wrexham, was given a suspension on Saturday for his fifth booking of the year against Notts County.

Mullin receives his sixth season booking.

AHEAD OF TIME? In the middle of the first half of a fiercely contested match between the two promoted sides at Meadow Lane, Mullin and Jodi Jones of Notts collided. Both players received yellow cards, with Mullin receiving his fifth of the year and a one-match suspension as a result.

FUTURE PLANS FOR WREXHAM? Next Saturday, Wrexham will travel to Mansfield Town for an FA Cup first-round match, taking a break from league activity.

 

THE BIGGER PICTURE: James McClean, who arrived in the summer, soon had the same outcome and was awarded his fifth yellow of the season. The significant duo will miss Wrexham’s November 11 league matchup with Gillingham.
