The most recent information about Leicester City as QPR manager Gareth Ainsworth anticipates their Championship matchup
As Queens Park Rangers get ready to host Leicester City, manager Gareth Ainsworth has issued a warning, stating that “pressure and fear can manifest itself”.
The struggling team, who have only eight points from 13 games and are 23rd in the Championship table, will be up against league leaders City when they travel to west London. The manager of QPR has acknowledged that there’s a chance some bad feelings could surface before the game. He acknowledged that his team is “feeling the pressure” due to their league standing, but he is adamant that he will bear the responsibility. He wants his team to surprise everyone with a performance against Leicester.
Ainsworth stated, “I just want the players to enjoy playing football and be able to make clear and sensible decisions.” Fear and pressure can show up in a variety of ways. I need them to play at Loftus Road fearlessly and with all of their talent, which is something I don’t think I’ve witnessed at home.
“It would be typical of QPR to perform against Leicester that no pundit anticipates. Hopefully that will be the case on Saturday. “The boys are feeling the pressure because of where we are, but as I have always done, I will tell them to let me deal with that. Both of the moments which led to the goals on Tuesday were probably the result of stress and that’s understandable.”
