David Moyes is getting closer than ever to being fired by West Ham United’s owners, who are growing more and more irritated with the manager.
In December 2019, David Moyes assumed leadership of West Ham for the second time, and his nearly four-year tenure has been fruitful.
But the Hammers’ triumph in the Europa Conference League the previous season covered up the deep decay in our utterly turgid style of play that has taken hold at the London Stadium.
Many of the issues have been brought about by Moyes himself. It was unacceptable for him to sell Gianluca Scamacca in 2021 and then fail to sign a top-tier striker who would fit his system. This was Moyes’ fault. Sebastien Haller was also let go. The play’s style is antiquated; in all honesty, it belongs in a bygone era, much like that manager. There was something off about yesterday’s performance; it was truly horrible in every way, and it seemed like Moyes might soon pay the price.
A reporter who is close to David Sullivan has incredible potential. David Moyes fires accuser
According to Claret and Hugh, a website closely associated with co-owner David Sullivan, there is a growing sense of impatience among Moyes’ superiors at the London Stadium. Remarkably, there have been hints that the Scot is nearer the sack than he has ever been! That is a strong assertion, especially considering the difficulties we faced in March and April of last year and the fact that our victory over Fulham essentially kept Moyes in his position. I genuinely think firing Moyes would be the right move at this point. Dave, thanks for the memories and everything.
But it’s obvious that he isn’t the right guy to lead this outstanding football team going forward. He plays a very poor football game in terms of entertainment value, speed, and fluidity. Sadly, there doesn’t appear to be a backup plan in case we fall behind 1-0 as well. There won’t be many West Ham supporters who are unhappy with David Moyes’ dismissal if it happens before the new year.
