Center-half for Galatasaray According to reports, Victor Nelsson is “preparing to leave” his current club during the January transfer window. It is believed that the Turkish team will consider bids of between €15 and €20 million (£13 and 17.4 million).
Everyone could see Tottenham’s defensive problems from the previous season. In the 2022–2023 Premier League season, the North London team gave up 63 goals, more than any other team in the division. Many of those problems seem to have been resolved with the addition of Guglielmo Vicario in goal and the signing of Micky van de Ven.
Although van de Ven and Cristian Romero seem to be a match made in heaven, there are worries that an injury to one of them could be disastrous because there isn’t much backup available.
Victor Nelsson may join the Spurs in January.
Victor Nelsson might be on the way for Tottenham if they want to strengthen their defence. Additionally, the player is eager to leave Galatasaray in January, according to Turkish publication Aksam. Nelsson told the Turkish champions he would not be extending his contract, according to reports that surfaced earlier this month that he was not happy with the club’s decision to prevent a summer transfer (Tipsbladet). Since then, Nelsson has not appeared on the pitch for Galatasaray, and it is currently believed that he is “preparing to leave” when the transfer window opens in January.
Tottenham is cited in the most recent report as a possible suitor, and it is said that the Premier League team could acquire Nelsson for a fee of €15–20 million (£13–17.4 million). His team is prepared to “evaluate offers” in that area at this time.

I enjoy Nelsson. He is a powerful, aggressive centre back who feels at ease handling the ball. He would be an excellent replacement for Romero in particular, and I would be far happier to see him take over than Eric Dier.
