It has been confirmed that Paul Godfrey, the former head of medical at Coventry City, has left the team.
After joining the Sky Blues in 2019, he had been a member for nearly five years. Godfrey was in charge of each player’s evaluation, diagnosis, and recuperation for both the senior and under-23 teams.
With over 25 years of experience in the field, Godfrey is a physiotherapist and physiologist. He has received recognition for his work with several clubs in recent years, including Wolverhampton Wanderers, Cardiff City, Swindon Town, and Notts County. “Paul Godfrey, Head of Medical at Coventry City FC, left the club on October 31st,” the club said in a statement.
