We are pleased to welcome Dr. Rajpal Brar, an expert on injuries, as a new exclusive columnist. He will share his opinions on Leeds United’s injury situation every week.
If Crysencio Summerville’s injury is more serious than initially thought, the attacker for Leeds United may have a complete muscle rupture, according to Dr. Rajpal Brar. Although it’s extremely unlikely, the injury expert notes that muscle problems often get worse. Daniel Farke may have been being cautious because the Dutchman was uncomfortable, though, considering Leeds was leading Huddersfield 4-0 at the half.
Brar, a sports scientist and physical therapist, exclusively spoke to MOT Leeds News about Summerville. A complete rupture is the worst-case scenario, although it is also extremely unlikely to occur.
“He might be absent for several weeks if that is the case. I’m sure the score had something to do with him seeming like the risk/reward skewed heavily in favour of needless risk.
According to LeedsLive, Farke expressed his hope that Summerville’s injury was not too serious after the game, but he did not corroborate this. The attacker put on a five-star performance for the Whites, scoring two goals and dishing out as many assists. This season, he has been Leeds’ best player and has established himself at Elland Road as the right winger.
