The main Premier League match of the week is between North and West London, as Tottenham Hotspur takes on Chelsea. Thanks to a 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace last Friday, the Lilywhites were able to maintain their two-point lead at the top of the table. Son Heung-min’s goal and Joel Ward’s own goal dealt the damage, but Jordan Ayew’s late goal provided some comfort. Concurrently, Ange Postecoglou broke the previous record with 26 points from his first 10 Premier League games as manager, and Mauricio Pochettino will play his old team again on Monday in the London derby.

Destiny Udogie

Status: Minor doubt
Type of issue: Muscle
Possible return date: November 6 (vs. Chelsea)

Destiny Udogie sustained a muscular problem against Fulham last month, and having been unable to contribute to the win over Palace, the Italy international will need a once-over ahead of Monday’s game.

Ben Davies

Status: Major doubt
Type of issue: Ankle
Possible return date: November 6 (vs. Chelsea)

Ben Davies started the win over Palace in place of Udogie, but the Welshman then had to be replaced at the break after taking a blow to the ankle, and Postecoglou has admitted that he is unlikely to make the cut on Monday.

Ivan Perisic

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Ivan Perisic may have played his final game in a Tottenham jersey, having undergone an operation on an ACL injury in September, which will likely rule the Croatian out for the season.

Manor Solomon

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Manor Solomon has also had to go under the knife to address a knee injury, but the Israel international could aim for a return to first-team action in January.

Ryan Sessegnon

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: Unknown

Ryan Sessegnon remains on the road to recovery from the hamstring injury he underwent an operation on in the summer, and there is currently no indication when the Englishman might return.

Alfie Whiteman

Status: Out
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: Unknown

Backup goalkeeper Alfie Whiteman also required a procedure to correct an ankle injury in August, and as is the case with Sessegnon, it is unclear when the 25-year-old might be back in action.
