Even though Kurt Zouma might not play for West Ham against Brentford, manager David Moyes has some amazing news following concerns.

Today, West Ham travels to Brentford in west London in hopes of defeating the Bees in the Premier League for the first time.

And it appears that they might have to do so without essential defender Kurt Zouma in addition to Edson Alvarez and Lucas Paqueta, who are also suspended.

Due to an injury that he disclosed to David Moyes, West Ham captain Zouma was unable to play in the Carabao Cup match against Arsenal in midweek.

Kurt Zouma might not play for West Ham at Brentford, but David Moyes has made some amazing news in response to concerns
There should always be serious concern when the terms “injury” and “Zouma” are used together. Given Zouma’s lengthy history of knee problems and his short turnaround times (three games), Moyes has acknowledged that he cannot risk the player. Moyes revealed Zouma’s ailment, although he did not provide many details. Fans of the Hammers now fear another lengthy layoff.

Zouma might not be playing for West Ham against Brentford, but Moyes has encouraging news following concerns.

Even if Zouma’s fitness for the game against Thomas Frank’s team is in doubt, it appears that his latest injury isn’t that serious.

‘Let’s hope he’s in with a chance of playing’

since he has returned to West Ham’s training.

Moyes has acknowledged, “We’re not sure (if Kurt is available for Brentford) yet.”

He has had some instruction, so we must evaluate him and watch how he performs. Hopefully, he will have a chance to play as he trained a little on Wednesday and a little on Thursday. Fortunately for the Hammers, Konstantinos Mavropanos seems to be a more than capable backup. As we previously wrote on Hammers News, Mavropanos was the quiet star of the game against his former team, Arsenal, but the Declan Rice farce in midweek took the spotlight away from him.

And inconsistent Nayef Aguerd’s performance appeared to be improved by the large Greek.

In the event that he steps in for Zouma at Brentford, let’s hope that keeps going.
