The summer departure of Rasmus Kristensen, a defender for Leeds United, on loan to Roma has not been well-received.

After a wild first season at Elland Road, the Denmark international saw Leeds eliminated from the Premier League.

He had a contract provision allowing him to leave the Championship if he didn’t want to stay.

On November 4, the Italian news site Corriere Dello Sport published a piece calling him a “flop.”

Well done.

As soon as he arrived at the team, Daniel Farke made it apparent that he did not want players who were not dedicated to the mission.

While some players who desired to leave but were unable to do so are still with the team and performing well, this is not the case for the majority of the team.

Kristensen didn’t seem to hesitate when Roma showed interest, and a few days later, he was on the plane.

If Leeds are promoted to the Premier League at the end of the season, it appears doubtful that he will play for them again.

The likelihood of acquiring Djed Spence will rise, and contingent on funds, Farke might request another right-back from the board. There’s a good probability the board will spend more money if he leads the Whites back to the top division.
