This weekend’s game against one of the league’s top teams will be difficult. Everything appears to be falling into place at Villa Park, where they are aiming for their 13th straight victory. Unlucky for some, but will we be unlucky?

Rodrigo Muniz is one unfortunate individual. Silva estimates that the Brazilian will be out of action for three to four weeks following her injury last weekend. It remains to be seen who will take his place at the top.

Our midfield was slightly different against Manchester United; Silva must decide whether to bring back Lukic or Reed alongside Joao Palhinha, or whether to keep Iwobi in that role. Regardless, the Nigerian international must keep his place in the starting lineup.

Kenny Tete was spotted in training this week, and Silva hinted that he might make the squad, but it’s unlikely he’ll displace Castagne, who has impressed in his absence. In a welcome boost, Silva also stated that Adama and Tosin may be on their way back.

This is the final game before another international break. With the exception of trips to Anfield and St. James’ Park, our December fixtures appear to be more forgiving – but the pressure is on to pick up some points, or the complexion of this season begins to change dramatically.
