Since the beginning of the current season, Aston Villa manager Unai Emery has had to cope with a number of injury setbacks.
In August, Tyrone Mings and Emi Buendia were both declared out for the better part of the season, and injuries to Alex Moreno and Jacob Ramsey have also caused setbacks. Since then, Moreno has been added back to the matchday roster, and following the November international break, he may make his season debut against Tottenham.
During the first three months of the season, injuries have also affected Diego Carlos, Bertrand Traore, Boubacar Kamara, Moussa Diaby, Emi Martinez, Leon Bailey, Lender Dendoncker, and Tim Iroegbunam. Here’s the most recent information before Villa’s match against Tottenham on Sunday, November 26 (kickoff at 2:00 pm).
Ramsey Jacob
In September, following his recuperation from a fractured metatarsal that required ten weeks of bed rest, Ramsey experienced another foot ailment. After recovering from an injury sustained in the loss to Legia Warsaw last month, he started the games against Chelsea and Brighton off the bench. After the November international break, he might play for Tottenham. Prior to the team’s match against Fulham, Emery provided an update, stating that the 22-year-old is almost ready to resume full training at Bodymoor Heath.
