We are happy to announce that Oldham Athletic loanees Kofi Moore and Jake Forshaw have joined our team. Both players are eligible for tomorrow afternoon’s trip to FC United of Manchester as they are on loan from the Vanarama National League Latics until the end of the season. Since the beginning of the season, Kofi has taken time off to gain experience with Workington. He made his Reds debut on Saturday in their thrilling seven-goal thriller at Nethermoor, coming off the bench. Moore, a 19-year-old winger, participated in the first team’s July friendly against Hyde United after earning a senior contract with Oldham in the summer.

The dynamic player was supposed to stay with Workington until January after joining them in July, but this week he was called back to Guiseley to reunite with Andy Welsh.

The midfield player “made a good impression in his time at Borough Park,” according to The Cumbria Crack. “Sharp and lively, with an eye for goal,” was how they put him. Striker Jake Forshaw, who inked a senior contract with Moore in the summer, is also joining the team.

Forshaw has already completed loans this season at Colne and Farsley, so he has spent time away from Boundary Park.

The previous season, the 19-year-old scored 34 goals in 36 games while playing alongside Moore for Oldham’s U18 team. Jake is a strong centre forward with the quickness to close the gap and hold the ball well.

Greetings from Jake and Kofi at Guiseley!
