According to Football Insider, Tottenham Hotspur has a three-man shortlist of Juventus forward Samuel Iling-Junior for the January transfer window.
The last few weeks have seen a lot of reports speculating that Spurs will likely start looking for a winger in January.
As of Friday, Football Transfers reported that Ange Postecoglou has determined that Son Heung-min can maintain his success as the number nine and that the club should sign a wide player because he has not been particularly impressed with Tottenham’s wingers this season. This is the most recent update of this kind.
Iling-Junior is believed to be one of the players the team is keeping an eye on. Over the past few days, a number of Italian publications have reported that the 20-year-old is expected to leave the Allianz Stadium, with Spurs being his most likely destination (TuttoMercatoWeb).
On the three-person shortlist is Samuel Iling-Junior.
Now, Football Insider has confirmed Tottenham’s interest in Iling-Junior; however, they also claim that the North London team has identified other wingers besides the young Juve player.
They disclose that they have learned through club sources that Ange Posteocoglou’s team has a shortlist of three players, including the Chelsea academy graduate. The other two attackers who are purportedly on Spurs’ list are not identified in the report.

It goes without saying that Tottenham will identify multiple targets for each position rather than placing all of their eggs in one basket. As the January window draws nearer, the identities of those players will probably become more apparent.
