Rangers look like they are about to find themselves in a position where they need to talk to an unhappy agent.

On Wednesday, Turkish journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu will report on a situation involving Ridvan Yilmaz on X.

The issue is that, despite his 22-year-old status, Philippe Clement hasn’t seemed to use him enough at Rangers.

His representative, Necdet Ergezen, has already made the trip to Scotland to meet with the Ibrox team, who are “not very happy” with his “playing stability.”

The left-back did start the three games against Hibernian, Hearts, and Dundee, but he ended up on the bench against Livingston FC and didn’t play in the most recent Scottish League Cup match. It’s unclear what the root of the problem is.

The fact that he was left off of the Europa League roster raises additional concerns, even though Michael Beale made the decision to do so at the time.
If Ergezen has already made the trip, the meeting is anticipated to occur soon, and the topic of discussion will be the “future of the player.”

It’s unclear if they will insist on a loan, a transfer, or a commitment to increased playing time, but negotiations will be held.
