John McGinn, the captain of Aston Villa, has commented on Tottenham Hotspur following their Sunday afternoon match.

Despite controlling the game for extended stretches, Ange Postecoglou’s team lost 2-1 to Aston Villa yesterday.

Giovani Lo Celso gave Tottenham the lead in the 22nd minute, and they were left to regret their missed opportunities that day.

In fact, Son Heung-Min gave Spurs three opportunities to put the ball in the back of the net. But offside meant that every attempt was eliminated.

During the game, Pedro Porro and Dejan Kulusevski also gave a rattling sound to the woodwork. It’s also reasonable to argue that Villa occasionally rode their luck.

Nevertheless, the Villains turned out to be the more proficient team that day and did put on a stronger showing in the second half.

After yesterday’s victory over Tottenham, John McGinn said that Postecoglou’s team will always be entertaining to watch.

McGinn comments on Tottenham following the match yesterday.
McGinn acknowledged, in an interview with Viaplay, that he found yesterday’s game to be “hectic,” but amusing for those who were not fans.

He declared, “I think anyone who comes to watch a Tottenham match this season is going to be entertained.”

It was quite entertaining for the neutral, but hopefully there won’t be games like that every week! It was somewhat frantic. Despite missing a number of important players, Spurs played a fantastic game yesterday. Pape Matar Sarr, James Maddison, Richarlison, and Micky van de Ven are among the players out with injuries. Yves Bissouma and Cristian Romero were also sidelined by suspension. However, Spurs were unfortunate not to get a result that day, but they were still able to give Villa serious problems. Although Postecoglou will surely be disappointed with the outcome, the performance will certainly give him plenty of motivation.
