When Everton plays Nottingham Forest on Saturday, December 2, they will be trying to get back to winning ways following their defeat by Manchester United.
The Toffees lost 3-0 at Goodison Park against United despite playing really well. This was due to some individual brilliance. They will be looking to gain three points at the City Ground in order to get back on the table following a 10-point deduction.
Due to an injury, Amadou Onana was unable to play on Sunday against Manchester United. The Toffees’ outcome might have been different if the Belgium international had been on the team. He is still expected to play in the Forest match if he practises well this week.
James Garner, the £15 million [Sky Sports] acquisition in September 2022, will be the one expected to make way, though Onana may also replace Idriss Gueye.
On Sunday, Seamus Coleman was not used as a substitute and Ashley Young was substituted in for Nathan Patterson. Sean Dyche is not going to start Coleman after such a long absence if he doesn’t give him minutes off the bench.
