The exit of Fluminense defender Nino is imminent, as confirmed by a club director, and he ‘has an agreement’ with Nottingham Forest.

Prior to the January transfer season, the 26-year-old has been strongly connected to a move to Forest, and two Brazilian media agencies are claiming that Nino and the Reds have reached an agreement.

Director Paulo Angioni of Fluminense has also verified Nino’s impending departure. As per Torcedores, he stated on Charla Podcast: “We need to be concerned about exits. We’ll put a lot of effort into exits. There will not be a lot. The departures, I think, will happen on time. Two players who are about to depart are Nino and André. Our work must be done in secret.”

Nino and Forest reportedly have an agreement, according to Torcedores and CNN Brazil. However, no information on a transfer fee or his potential salary at the City Ground is provided.

Nino competed for Fluminense, which defeated Boca Juniors of Argentina in the Copa Libertadores final last month. In the Brazilian Série A this season, he has participated in 25 games and been given four yellow and two red cards.
