On the eve of her retirement from international competition, Ryan Reynolds has extended an invitation to Christine Sinclair, the all-time leading goalscorer for Canada, to join Wrexham.

Consequently, what happened?

Over the course of her career, the 40-year-old has scored 190 goals for Canada, helping her team win three Olympic medals, including gold at the 2020 Tokyo Summer Games.
