Express Sport has the most recent information on players that are questionable due to injuries as the Fantasy Premier League resumes today.

Today’s Premier League action is back, giving Fantasy Premier League managers a little more time to make their final selections. Since there is no early kick-off, the deadline is today afternoon at 1.30 p.m., with the first matches starting at 3 p.m. Updates on the main injury questions and worries are provided by Express Sport ahead of what looks to be an entertaining Gameweek 14.

So far this season, Ollie Watkins has been one of the standout players. Despite having seven goals in his career, the Aston Villa striker is a serious doubt for Sunday’s match against Bournemouth.

Although he hasn’t ruled him out, Unai Emery says there’s a 50/50 chance he will play after getting hurt in practise and missing the Europa Conference League match against Legia Warsaw. He is not totally unavailable for Sunday, Emery stated. We will wait until tomorrow and see if we can take a chance with him.

“Only the game on Sunday will be on our minds. It is currently 50/50 for Sunday.”

Jarrod Bowen missed West Ham’s match against Burnley last weekend, yet he is still owned by over 22% of FPL managers. Additionally, he missed Thursday’s Europa League victory over Backa Topola.

There was not much of an update from David Moyes regarding the doubtful winger. “We’ll find out a bit later because we just returned from Serbia,” Moyes stated.

“Jarrod was obviously injured. We’ll check in later this afternoon after I pick up the medical team.”

During Brighton’s triumph over Nottingham Forest last weekend, Kaoru Mitoma was not present. But he ought to be fit to play against Chelsea on Sunday.

Starting Thursday’s 1-0 victory over AEK Athens was the Japanese player. Mahmoud Dahoud took over after he played 69 minutes.

For the proprietors of Eberechi Eze, however, this is not good news. Roy Hodgson, the manager of Crystal Palace, has verified that the England international has suffered damage to his ankle ligament.

Hodgson is hoping the 25-year-old won’t require surgery to resolve the problem. “We should know more after he sees the surgeon again today,” he remarked.

Because of a ligament issue, he saw the surgeon at the beginning of the week and had his ankle placed in a boot. He will see him once more today.

It’s a high ankle ligament which apparently is not quite as serious as it could be when you get a bad ligament injury lower down, but it’s still a considerable injury.”
