According to the Daily Record, Leeds United is interested in signing Aberdeen’s head of recruitment, Jordan Miles, as a “Major” player in their transfer window.
Before the January transfer window opens, the Whites are hoping to make a bid for the recruitment specialist, according to a report from a Scottish news site on Thursday, December 7.
Leeds is anticipated to reach a swift agreement, although because of Miles’ brief stay at the club, Aberdeen would need to pay compensation and serve a notice period.
Aberdeen suffered a severe setback when Miles, who had been with the Scottish team for six months, left to join the Dons from West Ham United during the summer.
The transfer window for January is approaching.
Fans of Leeds will be ecstatic to hear this news. Given the club’s eagerness to finalize Miles’ departure as soon as possible, Elland Road is likely to be bustling throughout the winter transfer window.
Even if Daniel Farke’s Whites are having a very successful season, there’s no denying that some of their players are drawing interest from nearby clubs and even some European ones.
While other players, like Joe Rodon from Tottenham Hotspur and Jaidon Anthony from Bournemouth, are only on a season-long loan, Crysencio Summerville’s incredible start to the season has given rise to well-deserved transfer rumors.
This season, Leeds must reintegrate fresh players into the squad who can sustain the club if they are to be promoted back to the Premier League.
But first, Farke and his team must maintain their current pace, trailing just Ipswich Town and league leaders Leicester City by a few paces.
One or more additions during the upcoming transfer window may prove to be crucial for maintaining play-off positions or possibly winning automatic promotion from the Championship. Miles is going to be important here.
