The manager that West Ham United is considering to succeed David Moyes is Steve Sidwell.

The former Chelsea player asserted that West Ham is keeping an eye on Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Gary O’Neil.

What has Steve Sidwell stated on Gary O’Neil, the manager of Wolverhampton Wanderers and West Ham United? Let’s examine this. David Moyes’ replacement at West Ham United is expected to be Gary O’Neil.

According to Steve Sidwell, West Ham United is considering Gary O’Neil, the manager of Wolverhampton Wanderers, as a possible successor to David Moyes.

On That Peter Crouch Podcast, the former Chelsea midfielder stated that he had heard from sources that O’Neil, who was a player for the London club from 2011 to 2013, made an impression on West Ham, who triumphed on Thursday.

At the completion of the current campaign, Moyes’ contract with West Ham expires. O’Neil took over as Wolves’ manager only in August of 2023. Sidwell and former Tottenham Hotspur striker Peter Crouch had the following exchange.

“Big shout out to Gary O’Neil for stamping his authority going in there before the season starts,” said Sidwell.

“He looks good, doesn’t he?” said Crouch. Sidwell: “He looks excellent. According to my sources, the horse whisperer, he might be a lock to start at West Ham!

Crouch: “You know, I think that’s a great shout.”

“Have you heard something?” asked Chris Stark.

Sidwell: “It’s like…,”

Playing well for Wolverhampton Wanderers is Gary O’Neill.
The fact that West Ham United is considering hiring Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Gary O’Neil as their new manager does not surprise me in the slightest.

O’Neil is one of the best young managers out there, yet he is only 40 years old. The Englishman prevented the Cherries from being demoted to the Championship at the close of the last campaign with his outstanding work at Bournemouth.

I think O’Neil’s dismissal was regrettable. Bournemouth has just recently begun to accumulate points on a regular basis.

Although he was not well received by Wolverhampton Wanderers supporters when he was named first-team manager in August 2023, the club is interested in recruiting Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale, as he has performed well there. Wolves are now nine points clear of the drop zone. They won’t fail, in my opinion.
