According to a report from The Leader, Wrexham will be without nine players for their match this weekend due to injuries.
As they get ready for their forthcoming League Two match at The New Lawn against Forest Green Rovers, Wrexham will be without a few players.

For the Welsh team, the injured list includes Arthur Okonkwo, Rob Lainton, Ryan Barnett, Anthony Forde, Bryce Hosannah, Eoghan O’Connell, Aaron Hayden, Jordan Tunnicliffe, and Steven Fletcher.

According to The Leader, their manager Phil Parkinson stated earlier this week: “Hopefully, we will have some of the boys back in the next few weeks, and we will need that because the squad and depth we have is what makes this group strong.

“We just need to get players back available, and when we do over the Christmas period, it is going to be a really interesting one. We are just lacking that a little bit right now.”

recent Wrexham injury
Wrexham will be hoping for a swift and safe return to the field for each and every one of their absentees. Parkinson has, however, hinted that he still has a strong roster with a plenty of choices for case injury-related scenarios arise.

After being promoted from the National League the previous season, the Red Dragons had a busy summer transfer window. They made sure to add additional players to offer competition and cover in most areas.

They are currently ranked second in the table, demonstrating how successfully they have adjusted to life back in the Football League. After 20 games, Parkinson’s team has amassed 37 points, placing them one point above of joint fourth-place Mansfield Town, Crewe Alexandra, and Notts County, and five points behind league leaders Stockport County.

Wrexham will be feeling optimistic heading into their trip to Forest Green as they have won their last four games across all competitions and have only lost once in their previous 16. Their next opponents have had a difficult season thus far, sitting in 23rd place as they fight to stay out of the non-league.
