We can announce that the match against Forest Green Rovers today has been canceled due to a flooded pitch, having inspected the field this morning.
The pitch was declared unusable following an intense overnight shower of rain and failed a pitch inspection at 11:30 a.m. Information about the rescheduled game and ticketing will be shared when it is available. All fans who traveled via official supporter transportation, however, will receive complimentary transportation to the rescheduled game, we can confirm.
After eliminating Yeovil Town in the Second Round and overcoming Mansfield Town in the First, this will be the Red Dragons’ third appearance in front of the cameras throughout the campaign.
At the STōK Cae Ras, Phil Parkinson’s team triumphed 3-0, with goals from Ollie Palmer, Andy Cannon, and Sam Dalby. This earned them a spot in the Third Round.
With a spot in the competition’s Fourth Round up for grabs, the Red Dragons are playing for the first time in over 15 years in a competitive match at Croud Meadow.
