Following the Reds’ 1-1 draw at Wolves, Harry Toffolo discusses the players’ opinions of manager Steve Cooper in the most recent Nottingham Forest news from NottinghamshireLive.

According to Harry Toffolo, despite rumors that manager Steve Cooper is under pressure, the Nottingham Forest team “loves” him.

Although Cooper’s squad took the lead thanks to a goal from the left back, Matheus Cunha’s equalizer made sure the game ended in a draw. Following their loss at Molineux on Saturday, Forest has only triumphed in one of their previous twelve games.

Toffolo, though, feels that the Reds’ performance against Gary O’Neil’s team demonstrated the team’s “togetherness” following Wednesday’s 5-0 loss at Fulham. He also talked about how much fun it is for him and the other players to work with the under-pressure manager Cooper.

He said to BBC Sport, “I think Wednesday we left the stadium embarrassed by that performance.” As experts, we are aware that things shouldn’t have ended that way.

“But it just goes to show how close we are to the manager and how it flows from the top down to the players. I’m so happy for the manager today because he deserves that and it demonstrated how much love he receives.”

“We just suffered a 5-0 loss away from home. Despite not winning the three points, we were able to play a strong, resilient game, so we just need to keep putting ourselves in similar situations. Winning away from home is a fantastic outcome.

“We adore Gaffer.” He has contributed greatly to this football team during the past two years. We’re right behind him because not many people could do what he has, and if they could, nobody could. May it last for a very long time. I love working for him as do all the players and I think it showed today and a big, big respect as well to the owner for, for sticking by the manager and it just shows you how together this football club is and it’s heading in the right direction and it’s one that many people will want to be a part of.
