Italian publication Il Romanista claims that AS Roma is prepared to release a player in order to finance the permanent signing of Rasmus Kristensen from Leeds United.

The Dutchman was loaned by Leeds United to Jose Mourinho’s team, and following a sluggish beginning, he has already established himself as a regular in Rome.

His efforts have impressed the Roma hierarchy, who are now considering signing him to a long-term contract. According to the report, Roma and Leeds have already reached a permanent contract, with the sum reportedly ranging from €7 to €12 million.

However, if Leeds are promoted back to the Premier League, the cost can increase. But in order to raise the money for the transfer, they will have to sell a player.

This season, the 26-year-old has made 13 appearances for Roma, contributing two assists and one goal.

In their most recent match, he came off the bench to spark a comeback against Sassuolo. Dybala’s penalty kick tied the score, and he later scored the game’s winning goal. Leeds United has won four of their past five games and is presently third in the league.
