When it comes to criticizing Manchester United, Gary Neville isn’t holding back, and some of his earlier remarks about certain Nottingham Forest players also seem accurate today.

The Sky Sports analyst is a devoted United supporter. He has played for the Red Devils his whole playing career, and he is frantically attempting to utilize his position to force the Glazers out of Old Trafford.

Following Forest’s humiliating 5-0 loss to Fulham in the middle of the week, Cooper made seven changes against Wolves yesterday. In response, the Reds played to a furious 1-1 draw.

However, some players may now suffer damage. According to press reports, Joe Worrall is no longer allowed to train with the first squad after Leicester showed interest in him last week.

Neville’s remarks regarding certain Forest players may be accurate.

During a classic episode of The Overlap, Neville got into a heated argument about players disclosing information to the media. Currently, some of those remarks seem to apply to some of the Forest crop.

The ultimate betrayal in a football dressing room, in his opinion, is when players or their representatives go to the media to disparage the manager, he stated on the show. To be honest, that is intolerable.

“I personally felt that they were going to attempt to fire another manager on Monday and Tuesday when I heard these reports become public.

“I simply believe that you should stop complaining, keep your mouth shut, work as hard as you can, and then the next day, come back in and repeat the process.”

Players must be devoted to Cooper.

News of Worrall and Scott McKenna being expelled from training has been leaked. Both of those players would welcome the arrival of a new manager, especially Worrall who is under contract.

Cooper ultimately dropped the club captain because he didn’t think his performances were good enough. Although Worrall has had successful seasons with Forest in the past, he is not currently in the team.

Players such as those that were on the field yesterday are what Cooper needs. They demonstrated the kind of tenacity that kept Forest in the league the previous year, and they will need it again this season.

With any luck, the team may be adjusted in January. It would be good to assume that Forest can add a little bit of quality while simultaneously cutting some players and streamlining the roster.
