Current Aston Villa news as Jack Grealish disputes claims that Manchester City are experiencing a “big crisis” and discusses facing his old team.

Jack Grealish, a winger for Manchester City, has refuted claims that the defending Premier League winners are in a “big crisis” in the face of Aston Villa’s competition.

Grealish, an academy graduate and former captain of Villa, has justified his current team’s situation, since they have only won one of their past five Premier League games. Under duress from Villa, the 28-year-old maintains there’s no need for them to panic.

Three points ahead of Grealish’s City in fourth place in the Premier League standings, Unai Emery’s club is currently in third place. Even so, Grealish is optimistic that City can bounce back from their loss to a “brilliant” Aston Villa team and other elite teams.

“I think a lot of people like to talk about City and go on like it’s a big crisis whereas in reality, we have played against very good teams,” Grealish stated. “We’ve faced up against the incredible Spurs. Liverpool is currently leading the league.
