Scott Brown reckons the ‘pull’ factor Celtic have on Kieran Tierney could one day secure a stunning return to Glasgow.

The legendary Hoops skipper admits he would LOVE to see his old team-mate return to Parkhead in the future after making the move to North London in a big money transfer. Things haven’t gone quite to plan with injuries and falling out of favour under Mikel Arteta leading to a loan move to La Liga with Real Sociedad this season.

His Spanish adventure got off to a flying start before he suffered an injury blow that also ruled him out of Scotland duty. But he is back fit and raring to go with his current side into the knockout stages of the Champions League while Steve Clarke and Co are off to Germany with the Hoops diehard an almost guarantee, if fit, to land a spot on the plane.

Celtic hero Brown, like any other fan, would love nothing more than to see the defender pull on the hoops once again but he knows being away from Scotland for so long and now trying his luck abroad he may well seek other challenges. He’s in doubt clubs all over the world – including the English Premier League – would take him if he’s made available but has held on to the hope of that emotional factor Celtic have on the full-back.

Brown said: “I’d love to see him back at Celtic. He’s loved by all the fans and it’s such a huge club for him. It was a hard decision for him to leave because the club means so much to him. But at the same time he has been away for that long now and experienced different things he may want to experience other things now.
