Brighton & Hove Albion is still interested in Boca Juniors’ Valentín Barco, despite their previous attempts to sign him failing.

His contract has a $10 million release clause, and it ends in December 2024. Olé stated on Tuesday that the Seagulls are prepared to trigger the option since they understand it will be difficult for Boca to extend the 19-year-old’s contract.

Facundo Buonanotte of Brighton has encouraged Barco to think about moving to The Amex in a conversation with D Sports that was transcribed by TyC Sports.

The Argentine international was signed by the Premier League team at the beginning of the season from Rosario Central. In his 27 appearances, he has managed two goals and two assists.

Barco’s transfer to Brighton is the greatest option for his countryman, Roberto De Zerbi, despite reports that Manchester City is also interested in him.
“It’s his decision, obviously, but this is a club that offers a lot of opportunities, and I am here.” He will always have the chance to play, so it’s not like he’s going to come here and not participate,” he remarked.

“He will make this decision in private with his family and people, but this is a fantastic club to launch in Europe. Football-wise and in terms of the quality of the personnel, both are excellent. It’s an ideal club that extends a warm welcome to you, especially to

Journalist Facundo Pérez revealed on Tuesday that Boca Juniors will try their hardest to get Barco to stay at the club instead of going to Brighton. Barco has played left wing-back, left back, and winger this season, managing two assists and one goal from 32 games.
