Today marked the official appointment of the Portuguese coach as Forest’s manager, following his two-year departure from the Premier League.
Steve Cooper was fired by the team on Tuesday after they had not won a game since September.
“I noticed a positive vibe surrounding them, and I believe the players are focused. We need to work together to make improvements, and that begins this Saturday,” he stated.
“What I witnessed today genuinely reassures me that our relationship is going well.”
A two-year contract has been offered to the former Wolves manager at the City Ground.
