According to a report, Nuno Espirito Santo, the new manager of Nottingham Forest, is expected to make a significant decision at The City Ground. The local public holds Steve Cooper in high regard, but he was fired by Nottingham Forest this season after the team went six games without winning in the Premier League.

Owner of Tricky Trees Evangelos Marinakis announced the decision to fire the Welshman in a statement that was obtained by Sky Sports News. “Everyone at Nottingham Forest would like to thank Steve for his superb contribution to our football club,” Marinakis stated. His success in leading Forest back to the Premier League will surely go down as a landmark in the history of the team.”

“We appreciate Steve’s hard work and devotion during his tenure with us, along with the amazing bond he created with our fans and the city of Nottingham,” he continued. Steve will always be welcomed at The City Ground and will always be a friend of the club. We hope he succeeds in all of his future endeavors.”

With five points from their first 17 games, the Reds are currently five points clear of Luton Town, who are situated immediately below them in the divisional standings, despite having a game in hand over their relegation rivals.

Nuno, the former manager of the Wolverhampton Wanderers, was quickly brought in by Marinakis to help right the ship at the City Ground. The Portuguese manager will play his first game in charge this weekend against Bournemouth after agreeing to a two-and-a-half-year contract with his new employers.

According to a report, the 49-year-old is expected to make a significant choice at Nottingham Forest that may influence some of his transactions during the January transfer window.

Divock Origi’s contract could be terminated by Nottingham Forest.
Sport Witness is reporting that Nottingham Forest may aim to sever Divock Origi’s loan agreement and utilize the money left over from his excessive pay spending to “buy a striker” in the January transfer window.

The entourage of the Belgium international is allegedly “looking for a solution” that works for everyone. Although Origi was given the opportunity to purchase a contract at Nottingham Forest at the time of the sale, it is now evident that he will not sign a long-term contract at the City Ground after his current one expires.

Origi’s match rating in the Premier League this season is 5.98/10, indicating that he has clearly struggled since joining Nottingham Forest and that his performances have fallen short of expectations (Origi statistics – WhoScored).

Given that Nuno is currently ruling the Tricky Trees, it appears that his friendship with Origi will not last long, since it appears that they will part ways in January.
