The long-running transfer issue between Juventus and Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Pierre-Emile Højbjerg is coming to an end as the January transfer window approaches.

It will be interesting to see how Spurs respond to the Old Lady’s approach.

According to reports, Tottenham has now “opened up” the prospect of a loan, with Juventus having to purchase Højbjerg.
But according to Di Marzio, the Old Ladies are not the only ones in the race. The midfielder is reportedly coveted by Premier League teams as well as other Serie A teams, such as Napoli.

Juve appears to have other plans for the midfield, which is what appears to be particularly apprehensive about this deal. According to the report, since other players like Kalvin Phillips are also on their list, a decision has not yet been made.

Spurs are not allowing Højbjerg to leave easily, as he has made 17 appearances for the team this season and continues to receive playing time under Ange Postecoglu. Transfermarkt currently values him at €28 million.
