After Aston Villa’s Premier League home undefeated streak extended to 16 games, Unai Emery expressed his pride in the team and its supporters.

Sheffield United led 1-0 thanks to a late goal from Cameron Archer, and after 15 straight victories, the home team was facing certain defeat.

However, the Villans persevered till the very end and equalized through Nicolò Zaniolo in stoppage time, receiving enthusiastic backing from the spectators.

After winning 15 straight games, Emery expressed his satisfaction with the team’s performance. “Every game is extremely difficult to win,” he stated.

They played excellent defense today. As planned, we dominated the opening half of the encounter. Despite not winning, we had to exercise patience. I believe that the VAR-rejected goal was the point at which we became slightly agitated and somewhat lost control of the game.” We needed to prevent them from creating opportunities like the one or two they produced to score.

It was really tough when they scored, but we responded brilliantly, scored, and drew. Now that we have 39 points, I’m really thrilled.

“Our attention will be on Manchester United.” I’m proud of our efforts, players, and backers.

While United dug in and mounted a resolute defense, Villa controlled possession and spent the majority of the game on their half of the field.

Emery believed that Leon Bailey’s goal disallowed just after the hour mark contributed to the Blades late comeback. We are currently playing some matches with teams that have very strong, low defenses, and it was challenging to attack a defense like that,” he stated.

They were playing a slow match and doing incredibly well. We had to adjust for that. Yes, we did. We were supposed to score one goal while attacking, but we failed to accomplish so.

“I believe the squad was playing the second half like we had discussed in the dressing room, but we became agitated and lost some composure when the VAR disallowed our goal.

We need to comprehend why we lost this control before we can analyze it. I believe it’s a good point all around.
