For Saturday afternoon’s Premier League matchup between Tottenham Hotspur and Everton, Ange Postecoglou has made two changes to his team.
The north London team is hoping to make it three straight wins when they host the hot-form Toffees, who have won their last four Premier League games but lost to Fulham at home in a penalty shootout midweek in the Carabao Cup quarterfinals.
Spurs will not have Yves Bissouma or Destiny Udogie in the match on Saturday due to their respective red and fifth yellow cards from their victory over Nottingham Forest eight days ago. In spite of the injuries and suspensions that plagued Ange Postecoglou’s club, the Spurs manager still had some midfield and forward decisions to make.
In the back, Udogie’s one-game suspension forces Emerson Royal to start on the left, and Postecoglou has opted to start Oliver Skipp in his more natural number six role rather than Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg due to Bissouma’s four-game suspension following his red card at the City Ground and subsequent departure for the Africa Cup of Nations.
