Nottingham Forest has been pushed ahead as a candidate to capture Fluminense’s Nino in the winter market during the last several weeks.

O Dia revealed four days ago that the 26-year-old has an offer from the Tricky Trees to play in the Premier League.

According to O Tempo, the Brazilian team may lose at least three players in January, including Nottingham Forest’s desired player Nino. They also mention that the two sides have been in discussions, probably about a possible agreement in January.

The center back is currently Fluminense’s “most anticipated departure,” according to ESPN in Brazil.
The player hasn’t yet reached an agreement with a club, but Nuno Espírito Santo’s team is the “big favourites” to sign him.

According to Italian author Alfredo Pedullà, Feyenoord and AS Roma are also considering South America. His contract has a €7 million release clause and expires in December 2024.

Feyenoord and the Serie A team want to “do everything possible” to sign Nino in January.

Pedullà claims that because Nottingham Forest is eager to get the South American into the Premier League, the two teams would need to move quickly.
